Our organization was facing a Herculean task after the immediate removal of the senior management team including the CEO, CMO and CFO.  Policy,Procedures and proper documentation were almost non-existent and workforce moral was very low.

We were facing the daunting task of preparing our SAC grant application without an in-house grant writer. We met Mike’s partner, Joe, and were very impressed with his work product (strategic plan development) and his knowledge of HRSA FQHC requirements. Mike and FQHCmd have been great to work with.  Shortly after having him take over our grant writing duties, we contracted with him to write a PCMH expansion grant (we thought it would be a long shot, at best).  Mike had a very short timeline but was able to put it together and did an excellent job.  So much so, that we received the full grant award of $250,000 to help expand our dental clinic.  Mike is always very good at responding to inquiries and is open to discussing alternatives or bouncing other ideas off of.  I would recommend Mike for any grant writing needs that you have.

FQHCmd provided technical assistance and an operational assessment for our FQHC to prepare key management, the Board of Directors and staff for the “new start” HRSA site visit. The practical skills, years of experience  and business expertise of Mike and Joe were exceptional to assist staff in educating and training in preparation for the intense site visit.  An operational assessment was conducted to make sure our organization was properly aligned for success.  I would strongly recommend consulting with FQHCmd due to the positive results we received from our HRSA site visit and implementing recommended changes to better our organization for the community we serve. It never hurts to have an independent consultant, such as FQHCmd, access any organization because there is always room for performance improvement  and the results can exceed expectations.
